Mogabout- Arran Safari (“the company”) accepts your (“the customer”) booking under the following terms and conditions.


Bookings can be made via phone, e-mail, in person or through our website and will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.  Full payment can be made via credit/debit card on our website or by phone. 



The company will only cancel tours due to operational circumstances or circumstances out-with our control, in this case a free transfer to an alternative date will be offered or a full refund will be given. A minimum of 4 passengers are require to run our trips.

Where the customer cancels the tour reservation then the effective date of cancellation will be the date the company receives written notification of the cancellation.  In the event of a cancellation, a charge as detailed below, shall be payable by the Customer.

The following cancellation charges apply to all bookings:

  • When notification of cancellation is received out with 5 days, 50% refund will be given.
  • When notification of cancellation is within 5 days then no refund will be given.
  • If no notification of cancellation is received – the Customer will be held liable for the full cost of the cancelled activity/tour.



Mogabout – Arran Safari has full public liability insurance and passenger transport liability and will take every opportunity to reduce the risk involved in activities/tours offered however, due to the nature of the activities/tours there will always be dome degree of risk involved.  Whilst not mandatory, you may wish to arrange your own personal injury insurance and/or holiday insurance.  Please note,  instructions from employees of the Company must be obeyed at all times in order to minimize risk.


Mogabout cannot be held liable for ferry cancellations, weather or any travel issues therefore we do recommend travel insurance.


Smoking is not permitted in our vehicle or on Forestry Commission Land.



All animals with the exception of Guide Dogs must be excluded at all times from the tours on Forestry Commission land.



A parent of legal guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 15 years old.  Children/Infants are welcome on tours however parents/guardians are responsible for providing car seats/booster seats to comply with current legislation. Infants cannot be seated on parents/guardians laps, they must occupy a seat and be safely belted in.



Guests are advised to dress for the season and the forecasted weather conditions.  On the tour please note that the weather can be much colder on the hills than in the villages so always bring an extra layer, waterproof coats/trousers and wear sensible outdoor footwear.  Mogabout – Arran Safari reserve the right to refuse access to the tour for those who are inadequately dressed.



Guest are advised to visit the toilets before the tour as there are limited toilet facilities available.



Mogabout – Arran Safari reserve the right to refuse customers they believe are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in such circumstances no refunds shall be given.



The company will do everything in their power to ensure every customer has a thoroughly enjoyable experience.  If any customer is dissatisfied with any part of the experience provided, the exact reasons for their feelings must be detailed in writing and given to the company.  This document will then be taken into consideration by the Company who will ensure a satisfactory outcome is reached.



Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.  Once the Gift Voucher has expired it cannot be redeemed.
